Breeders of quality Australian registered and unregistered full blood boer goats – both bucks and does,   Xbred does, full blood and xbred wethers, full blood and xbred pets.

The Dromkeen business consists of breeding and the trading of boer and boer infused goats.

Dromkeen bucks are all Carcase Merit Indexed  – this process has been adapted from the Breedplan requirements in the Cattle Industry and concentrates on scanning rib fat, rump fat, eye muscle area and intramuscular fat.

The animals are then graded and this gives the buyer a guide to the ability of the animal to pass these hereditary traits on.    Of course, enviroment also has an impact on these results and on the animal when transferred to another area.

Dromkeen also carries out its own EBVs (Estimated Breeding Values) which include birth type, birth weight, average daily weight gain,  a 1-3 assessment of feet structure and an assessment on full teats.

Dromkeen Pastoral also breed Murray Grey cattle and Dorper Sheep.
